I had the benefit of starting early as I mentioned before. We had a family get together last month and had the brainwave of delivering presents to the family, who are spread across the UK. We normally end up posting the gifts, so this saved a fortune on post and packaging. This then spurred me on to buy for the family close by too. I have finally finished buying this weekend and so now I can relax!
My final challenge was to find some brandy, which was proving to be difficult as I don’t often drink 
brandy myself. I had a search on our shop here for brandy and found exactly what I was looking for by accident. I stumbled across metaxa, which I have had in the past, but not for many years since I was last on holiday in Greece. It’s clearly not traditional brandy, but has a really smooth taste. I’d forgotten how delicious it is! Sadly this gift is not for me, but maybe an idea for someone else who is struggling to find a suitable present for me! To accompany the bottle of Amphora 7 star metaxa I also bought these beautiful brandy Dartington crystal glasses. I absolutely love
