I wonder how many proposals there were this Valentine’s day? If you were one of the lucky people to have been asked and said “Yes”, congratulations. The next step is to plan your big day.
You may be interested in a Wedding Bible Planner available from various stockists from about £20. It serves as a comprehensive organizer for brides with top tips from a host of wedding experts. This work includes 10 sections with pockets for storing swatches, clippings and quotes. It includes worksheets, checklists, a zipper pouch, business card holder, 2-year diary and pull-out ‘mood board’.
Once you have set the date and chosen the venue - there are literally thousands of options open to suit everyone now - you will be on the hunt for your outfit. Major stores such as Marks and Spencer and John Lewis have wedding sections making it easy to find the outfit of your choice. Even I have to admit that that is something that isn’t easy to do without visiting the shop!

No it’s not Easter, but you could be mistaken for thinking it was. Christmas has just gone and the shops are already stocking up with Easter eggs! I heard from someone who works in retail that they had Easter eggs delivered to their shop on Christmas eve! I didn’t actually believe it was true until I saw the eggs out on display last week.
For those who need to know and start buying for Easter, it isn’t actually until April this year.

With the ‘credit crunch’ not far from everyone’s mind, now is a good time to look for those gifts for valentine’s day that will melt your valentine’s heart, but not break the bank!
