Feature for September - Football

1 September 2008

The football season has begun for everyone. If like me you have children who play football then you will be looking forward to many weekend mornings standing on the touchline cheering your footballing genius on! Or perhaps you’ll be dreading the cold and wet that we have to endure! Now is the time to check out some winter warming must haves, such as thermal underwear; a must on those cold winter mornings and waterproof jackets for the wet days ahead.

For the budding footballer you’ll need to make sure the boots, shin pads and trainig gear is still OK. I have had to buy new boots for both my players. Each pair seems to last just one season due to their ever growing feet.

For football boots and equiptment try here in our shop where we list stockists like Kitbag. To keep your self warm try our shop here for thermals and waterproofs from stockists such as Millets.

Is it really just about winning? - Both boys play football for a local club. It’s just children’s football and they both enjoy it.
