OMG! It’s gooorgeous! Or, so good I’ve mentioned it twice.

Our new television arrived today only 2 days since I ordered it. The company rang me yesterday to ask if I would like it delivered on Monday, but it came today. I’m not complaining.
Jim chose it and I did the ordering, so I hadn’t really looked at it apart from the price, which is my job to OK. Jim earns it and I OK spending it; a perfect arrangement I say. Anyhow, I told Jim it was here and of course he had to down tools and come and see. He said he’d set it up for me. Yeah, right. More like he had a new toy and wanted to play!
It was only once it was in situ that saw what a beautifully, sexy thing it is. It is sparkly white, which will go with the Nintendo Wii that I want (I’ll happily wait until after Christmas), but best of all the controls are touch controls! I was beside myself. Then we found out that the remote control lights up! Son Number Two arrived home to witness the turning on ceremony. He says it’s “very nice”, but can’t quite understand my excitement. Unfortunately for him his friends have just arrived and have had to go and admire this new wonder before they could go to his room. They say it’s lovely too, but I have a feeling they may be being polite. We all agree that the Wii will only make it look prettier!

Shop till I drop? - Son Number Two is moving up to High School next year. He spent a day there yesterday, which he thoroughly enjoyed.
